Coming off the heels of his Retrac debut on wax "Moai/Soda," W3imaraner's new album "Jagg3d" features 11 more tracks that are sure to please fans of the 7".

Opener "One" sets the tone of the album perfectly, featuring huge 808s, unexpected shifts in the song's structure, and obscured vocal samples.
From there the rest of side A goes through the massive "Victoria Park," the upbeat "Umbriel," the serene "The Co-operative Food," and the funky "Gargoyles." Side B has some chill lo-fi bangers like "Casio Jackson" and "Coleman Street" that harken back to the early "Artificial Intelligence comps, but also some quirky ravers like "Kinetic" and "Zoop." The tracks "Lot" and "Feldspar" end the tape off with a peaceful mood, the former being a cute diddy on a music box (akin to Nannou by Aphex Twin), and the latter being a beautiful arpeggiated bow that ties up everything you heard along the way.

The album takes us through Junior's world in a trip that isn't so Jagg3d as the album title suggests. In fact, the whole album goes down quite sweetly in one sitting.
