though it's not the tasmanian-based producer's first Retrac outing, it's their first for the label under their well-known HATENA alias! though HATENA is known for their uber-glossy future funk under other albums such as HANDZ, PARADER, and SPARK SOCIETY, "EMAIL" shows the artist dabbling in French house, glitch, and even noise/EAI(?). it's a combo that most would never even think of producing, but HATENA effortlessly pulls it off, knocking it out of the park which each interlude and detour the album takes, rightfully pressed onto classic black vinyl, with exclusive mastering and artwork!
